It is used to build muscle quickly and is being tested as a male contraceptive drug. In men, regular administration of sufficient amounts of trestolone produces a reversible state of infertility.
Ment does not show much interaction with Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHGB), meaning a large portion remains unbound and active in the blood. It also binds potently to the androgen receptor, while exhibiting minimal affinity for the progesterone and mineralocorticoid receptors.
Since it cannot be converted to a dihydro version, it will not have many of the side effects often associated with Dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
Ment shows a strong binding affinity for the AR receptor, stronger than that of testosterone and even nandrolone. Like testosterone, it can also aromatize, making the simultaneous use of an AI (aromatase inhibitor) desirable if you notice an excess of estrogen.
People who uses MENT should realize that estrogen plays a major role in the muscle growth process both directly and indirectly. Recent research has also proven this. This is one of the reasons why aromatizing steroids often provide superior mass gains over non-aromatizing ones.
So where aromatase is beneficial on the one hand, one should keep a close eye on the turning point to the negative (gyno/water retention).
MENT-based cycles
It is advised you start by taking 100 mg per week of Trestolone acetate, or MENT, to see how your body responds. If your body responds well, you can consider increasing the dosage slowly, up to 350 mg per week.
MENT cycle: MENT is an fast acting type anabolic, where a cycle would be like the following; each other day dosage starting from 25mg - 100mg. But you often see it being used each day with an dosage of 25mg - 50mg to keep a better or stable blood levels.
